TAP and TIP

TAP - Transition to Adulthood Program


SCIL has over ten years of experience working with youth in transition through TAP. TAP is designed for high school students or those in a GED program who are 14–22 years old with a disability. We provide the following services to the students we serve: The Advantages: TAP services are free to those who qualify. We provide both one-on-one and group work. TIP - Transition Internship Program


For youth 16-22 years old with a disability who are seeking to learn necessary job skills and gain valuable employment experience. SCIL assists with the transition from school to the working world by giving them the tools they need to realize their post-secondary vision. We offer a series of classes that teach the skills necessary to grow and succeed. After they have completed the classes, they are assigned to worksites as paid (directly through SCIL) interns.
