SCIL offers to its consumers participation in a transportation program funded through our APRIL (Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living) grant. Through this grant, SCIL is able to offer financial assistance with getting to and from work to individuals with disabilities who live in rural areas. Those who live in areas with no public transportation know that getting to and from work is not an easy task. Through the APRIL grant, SCIL is able to provide people with disabilities the freedom to creatively access transportation to help further their own employment goals.
